Tommy’s medical career began in the early 1980s, when he served in the US Army. After years of working in advanced trauma for the military, he adjusted his focus to pediatrics. 

In the Fall of 2022, Tommy joined Wave Healthcare. He came to our team with over 35 years of experience in the NICU and PICU. His most recent position prior to joining Wave was as Clinical Educator in a NICU, where he served as a resource for Neonatologists and Nurse Practitioners. 

Tommy was also instrumental in orienting and training RTs and RNs on high-risk deliveries, ventilator management, and best NICU practices.
