Working at Wave Healthcare has been a blessing!! I started my journey here as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT), passionate about caring for medically complex children and supporting their families. Over time, I was given the incredible opportunity to grow within the company and transition into my current role as a Clinical Outreach Coordinator — a role I absolutely love! One of the things that makes Wave Healthcare special is that it’s a company founded and owned by a Respiratory Therapist. That means our leadership genuinely understands what we go through every day as clinicians. They know the challenges we face in the field, and because of that, there’s a level of support and compassion here that you don’t find in your typical setting. I’ve always felt valued, heard, and appreciated — and that makes all the difference.
Over the past four years at Wave Healthcare, I have experienced tremendous growth, both professionally and personally. I started my journey as a Patient Care Specialist, and now I have the privilege of serving as an Authorization Case Manager. During this time, I have seen firsthand the profound impact we have on the lives of children who rely on our care. Wave Healthcare’s mission to provide life-changing respiratory support to children in need deeply inspires me every day. Knowing that my work plays a part in improving a child’s health and bringing comfort to their families fills me with gratitude and makes each day truly meaningful.
It’s been almost 11yrs since I joined Wave Healthcare. I started as a Customer Service Specialist and worked my way to Team Lead for our Customer Service Department. I now serve as The Director of Operations. Wave is a company where staff is truly treated like the highest valued asset and offers you a supportive and friendly environment to grow professionally and personally. What is most exciting is working in a diverse and inclusive culture with a fantastic team.
In the 5 years, I have been with Wave Healthcare, I have learned and grown so much professionally and as an individual. Wave has always given us the opportunity to contribute our thoughts and ideas on ways to improve our processes to be more efficient in what we do. There are so many intelligent and motivated individuals here, and it is truly inspiring to work alongside them.
