Eddie Ramirez joined Wave Healthcare in January 2022. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (B.S. Microbiology) and went on to graduate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a Masters in Respiratory Care.

In 2019, he began his respiratory therapy career at Doctor’s Hospital in Laredo, TX, and Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio. His experience has focused on critical care support ranging from neonatal to adult patients. During that time, he served as a clinical instructor for UT-Health Sciences Center and has received his certification in ECMO. 

It was during his graduate internships at Dells Children’s Medical Center and Johns Hopkins that he discovered his passion and commitment for neonatal care. His move to Wave gives him the opportunity to focus specifically on the continuing care of his neonatal and pediatric patients and the facilitation of their support in the home setting.
