Norma Ramirez has been part of Wave Healthcare since 2018. She came to our team with her ten years of experience and a degree in respiratory care from UT Health Science Center. 

Norma started her career working in the NICU/PICU at Methodist Children’s Hospital. She then went on to work in Dallas at UT Southwestern Medical Sleep and Breathing Disorder Clinic. While there, she specialized in ventilation management for patients with neuromuscular disease. 

As Wave Healthcare’s Clinical Outreach Coordinator, Norma’s goal is to collaborate with a patient’s healthcare team to help ease the process of transitioning home from the hospital. 

Norma takes pride and finds meaning in helping patients and their families get through one of the most challenging times in their life. She is determined to continually push toward everyone receiving the best patient care possible.
