Product Description
The Sunset NEB100 Nebulizer Compressor is a tabletop nebulizer designed to turn liquid medication into a fine mist that can be inhaled into the lungs. It is used at home to help deliver respiratory medications more directly to the airways and comes with a nebulizer kit and filters. Sunset lists the NEB100 as a compressor nebulizer with fast treatment times, a 6 mL medication capacity, and standard included accessories such as a disposable nebulizer kit and foam filters.
Conditions Commonly Treated
Nebulizers like the Sunset NEB100 are commonly used when a child needs inhaled medication delivered through a mist rather than an inhaler alone. The most common pediatric respiratory conditions and care needs would be:
| Condition / Care Need | How a Nebulizer Helps |
|---|---|
| Asthma | Helps deliver prescribed breathing treatments directly into the lungs during routine care or flare-ups. |
| Reactive airway disease | Supports children who need inhaled medication to help open the airways and support easier breathing. |
| Chronic lung disease | Helps deliver respiratory medication as part of ongoing breathing support at home. |
| Cystic fibrosis | May be used to deliver inhaled medications that support airway care as part of a broader respiratory routine. |
| Upper or lower airway congestion | Helps deliver prescribed medication in a form that may be easier for some children to tolerate. |
