The AffloVest is a wearable airway clearance device that uses gentle vibrations to help loosen and move mucus from the lungs. The vest inflates and deflates rapidly, creating oscillations that help mobilize secretions so they can be cleared more easily through coughing or suction.
Because it is lightweight and battery-powered, AffloVest allows patients to continue airway clearance therapy while remaining mobile during treatment.
