Alexandria “Alex” Faubion graduated from Texas Tech University in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. For the following 8 years she worked as a Registered Dietitian providing nutrition care for acutely and critically ill patients in the hospital. During this time, she discovered her passion for tube feeding, which allowed her to have a direct impact on nutrition in adults and pediatrics.
Following this experience, she was led to provide nutrition care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, where she served many of the same patients flowing into the post-acute care setting. Specifically, providing care for those affected by brain, stroke, and spinal care injuries. Often times, the plan of care included tube feedings, which Alex was able to help navigate.
She is excited to move forward in the continuum of care and aid these same patients in transitioning to home.
