Aileen Longoria joined the Wave Healthcare team in the summer of 2020.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville in 2007 with an Associates in Respiratory Care and received her Bachelors in Applied Science in 2014.
Aileen is no stranger to serving others, having served in the National Guard in the Finance Corps.
Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, she spent her first eight years as an RT at the McAllen Medical Center. During her time there, she provided critical care to neonatal, pediatric and adult patients as a lead therapist. She also assisted in the Pulmonary Function Lab.
When she relocated to San Antonio, Aileen joined the pediatric critical care unit at University Hospital and later worked in the cardiac unit at San Antonio Military Medical Center.
When she began working part-time for a pediatric and adult home DME, she found her true calling. Not long after, she dedicated herself full time to pediatric home care.
Aileen loves educating and working closely with families with special needs. “The best feeling is knowing you can provide and care for their needs from day one and continue to provide and grow a relationship with one another. They become a part of your family.”
